Mission Statement

The mission of the School Nutrition Association of Utah is to To promote professional development and resources
to all Utah SNA members and advance good Nutrition to all children .

Strategic Plan

The SNA Utah bylaws have been crafted to regulate the general operation of the organization, setting out the form, manner or procedure in which the association should be run in order to best benefit the members. Our bylaws are drafted by the board of directors under the authority of association charter, the SNA and the members. Some of the things the bylaws define are how directors are elected, how meetings are conducted, and a description of duties.

• Policies are adopted by the Board to define procedures, guidelines and accepted ways of conducting association business. This includes the relationship between SNA Utah and the SNA, as well as the definition for the functions of Executive Board Members and Committee Members, their responsibilities and the handling of association finances and other association business.
